Vidant Health Community Benefits
We were commissioned to document the stories behind the impact of Vidant Health’s (ECU Health) Community Benefit Grants Program. This editorial photography project took us across eastern North Carolina, capturing portraits and interviews with individuals and families whose lives were transformed by the grant-funded programs.
From community gardens and senior centers to rural clinics and youth outreach spaces, each stop revealed the power of prevention, education and local access to care. Our goal was to photograph with empathy and authenticity—spotlighting not just the programs, but the real people behind the data. The resulting collection was featured in Vidant Health’s (ECU Health) printed and digital materials, offering a human-centered visual narrative of care that extends well beyond hospital walls.
